The Cincinnati Enquirer reported yesterday that Withrow High School shooting guard Aaron Thomas was going to visit Cincinnati but according to our sources that visit has now been canceled and as of right now will not be rescheduled.
Thomas, who is a 6-foot-5 190-pound shooting guard saw his recruitment heat up after his sizzling performance during the July evaluation period. Since then things have started to cool for the 4-star shooting guard.
The main reason colleges have cooled on Thomas is because he has not been able to achieve the necessary academic requirements that would qualify him for a D1 college scholarship.
With Cincinnati out of the picture it now appears that Florida State is the front runner.
Sanders sets visit date
Jermaine Sanders, a 6-foot-4 205-pound small forward from Rice High School (Manhattan, NY) is scheduled to take an official visit this weekend to Cincinnati.
The 3-star small forward currently list offers from Cincinnati, Marquette, Rutgers, St Johns, Villanova, Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh.
Sanders has stated in the past that he would wait until the spring to make his college choice. But we are hearing that Sanders could move up the deadline if he finds the right fit before then.
