Moore had over twenty scholarship offers including proffers from BCS institutions like Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Illinois, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and West Virginia, but after doing his homework and looking at the pros and cons of each suitor, the three star recruit made an August commitment to Cincinnati. Aiken Commits to Cincinnati
41 days agoLast season the Bearcats added depth to their defensive front when John Williams transferred to Cincinnati after spending four years at Central Michigan. Because the defensive tackle had already graduated from CMU within a four year period and still had a year of eligibility remaining, he was permitted a one-time transfer without having to fulfill an academic year of residency. In other words, he was immediately eligible at Cincinnati. More

Coney Whets UC Fans’ Appetites
42 days agoWhen Bennie Coney committed to play his college football at Cincinnati, it was a big deal for UC football fans. The Plant City (FL) star was Cincinnati’s only four star recruit in 2012, and 247sports rated him the 11th best pro-style quarterback in the country. Adding to the hype was Coney’s offer list that included reported offers from Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and several other BCS institutions, but ultimately this recruiting battle came down to Cincinnati and perennial ACC football power, Virginia Tech.
