Thanks Chris, excited for Tyler to be a Bearcat. It sounds like the type of kid that will be successful no matter where he plays on the field.

I don't get the move. Yeah, he's got the right body type, but he is one of the best QBs in Florida. He is a proven commodity at QB, but hasn't played a down at TE since the 9th grade. So you give him a full ride to play a position he hasn't played since 9th grade? And why not even let him throw a few passes at QB? You may be throwing away a star because you've already predetermined his best position by just looking at him??? I have a lot of faith in CTT, but he isn't God! This coaching staff is beginning to confuse me.
I am glad Tyler Cogswell is going to be a Bearcat. I just hope he gets to maximize his potential, for his sake and ours.

I agree that the staff should not rule out him at QB either depending on what they think of his skills when he gets on campus and can start working with the staff, but obviously Tyler was open to that option too.

Travis Kelce switched to TE and will be drafted fairly high in the NFL Draft. At Rutgers, DC Jefferson, about Cogswell's size, was highly recruited by LSU, chose Rutgers, moved to TE as a Redshirt Fr, and is expected to be drafted into the NFL. I think the Staff and the recruit know what is best for the team and the recruit.

I am pretty sure that Coach Tuberville attempted to recruit Coney to Texas Tech.....I actually think he could be in the mix this year with Kay.
