Houston Stadium issues

The good news- the Cougars are building a new stadium.
The bad news- they tore down their stadium without an agreement to play their home games anywhere else signed.
The worse news- they still don't have anything in place.....

Call me crazy but you would think someone would've said they needed a field to play on before tearing anything down, talk about jumping the gun

If not simply due to the fact that the person you are negotiating with knows you have a fall back possition.
Lets put it this way... if we ever did this type of project.... I'd sure as heck make sure the ink is dry with Mikey Boy before I would make this move.
There is no way in the world I would ever just assume this would just work its way out.

Luckily, they're in a city with four other stadium possibilities. Could you imagine that happening to UC and having to only deal with the Bengals?

If Don King were our new commissioner, we would not be "wanting" in terms of promotion. We might not have any money left to divide amongst oursevles at the end of it all, but we would be promoted and playing some very big opponents.
