I'd give my opinion but I don't think it particularly matters so GO cats!
4,400 UCAT members. UL have 10k. Why haven't you joined? $50 minimum to start. Membership matters.

Yuck, the shade is all wrong; UC has never worn that shade of red.

As others have said, these decisions don't seem to be made based on what most of us like, nor tradition. That being said, I dislike the red stuff because I'm picky about the shades of red I like to see used, and we just seem to screw it up. Plus, I don't like the "all red" look. Wear the red helmet with black jersey's, or something.
Or, if we're going to move from our classic black helmet, at least add some flare to it somehow - shading from dark to light on the bottom to top, or metallic look, or something. Don't just do a plain red.

I think 85 hit it head on. If you want to be innovative and do something new be innovative and do something new, don't just invert the colors of your standard helmet, but again as others have mentioned our opinions don't seem to matter.
I jsut sent pic to my buddy and his response read "that's not representing the c" hahaha.

How about a white C on the red helmet? Or at least a black C with white outline?
From a distance, you could (probably) not even tell there's a C on there. Especially with that charcoal trainwreck.

Can't represent the "C" when it can't be seen. Those won't be seen above the 10th row.
If we must go Red, I suggest a White C with a black underline.
When I think of Red in the BE I think of Rutgers and UL. UC has established Black as OUR color. I don't mind changing jersey colors on occasion ( like ND when they go green ) but I'd rather we keep our helmets black.
On the other hand, ( as was suggested above ) , if we get 10 wins and win the BE, I don't care what we wear ( except the all-white which are cursed IMO )
