I hope he could keep both line coaches. I also would be fine with Coombs becoming the dc as tuberville also has a good D history.

+1 - Coming to post the same thing and I don't think it is sour grapes. We are in a better position now moving forward. Great hire Whit/Santa.

The speed at which this was done kind of makes me think Whit saw Butch leaving coming and was well prepared to finalize things quickly. In watching the press conference yesterday, I noticed when asked about the coaching search, Whit had kind of a mischevious look on his face that he knew something we didn't even though he no commented the question...
