Like everyone else. Wow. Simply floored. Goose bumps. Whit not only hit it out of park but did it quickly and frankly upstaged Tennessee. Beyond our wildest dreams. This move alone will change perception of UC. Wonder how the Vol fans feel now. UC just upgraded big time. Amazing. I was worried about Whit the day the ACC news broke....no more. Give him a raise. Now lets get in new conference.
They are taking season tix deposits. I'm ready.

I'd love to see them bring back Coombs in some capacity. Not sure where he would fit if what Todd says is true about the entire defensive staff coming with Tuberville though.

Considering this was close to or actually agreed to prior to yesterday's press conference, you know it was the intended outcome. Butch just wore Whit out. He said as much at the press conference.
The Vols are none to happy. They really weren't very happy before this news hit them.

No doubt they tried, but did they go all out? If true and knowing the end game, I would not super pumped and would officially never get in a poker game with Whit!
Any questions about our commitment to big time athletics have now been answered.

I no longer care about Butch Jones and Tennessee. Wow. Best of luck to him, but having Coach Tubs isn't something that I even thought was possible. Love it.

Just saw a comment on the Enquirer Web site that Tuberville's wife is actually from the Tri-state, over in Dearborn County, Ind.
If Whit was able to take that little thread of info and develop this hiring scenario out of it, it is the stuff of genius.

Not just that but hopefully whit sold him on the fact that if you win and stay a long time at UC you will have your name tattoed in history everywhere at Cincinnati.
The only way to do that at the big schools is to win multiple national championships.
