Remember, @CoachCroninUC has mentioned a few times the #Bearcats will have new home & road post-season uniforms. I haven't seen them yet.
yes they are pretty sweet
Aren't we getting permanent new uniforms for next season?...or are our uniforms for next year just being introduced during this years post season?...or are we getting new post season uniforms in addition to next years new unis?
Sorry for the confusion, but I've heard about post season unis as well as new unis to start next season...
From what I have heard there will be all new uniforms for the post seasons and then another new design that will be introduced next year...

Chad, are the new uniforms they are wearing lately supposed to be their permanent uniforms for the rest of the season or are they just choosing to wear those as alternates?
can we expect some more infrared?
can you tell us anything about them?
similar to what all the other adidas programs are wearing?
The team requested the blackout units be used for the rest of the road games...
I wouldn't mind the same tourney unis as last year. I also wouldn't mind being able to buy one of those gray ones. Those were awesome.
I have grown to love the blackout uniforms.
UofL wore white out uniforms this past weekend.
I like UC's black out unis better but the white ones were more legible.
I hope they don't do neon versions again for the tourneys.
Baylor, UofL and UC's tourney unis were blinding...although they did seem to be lucky!
I like the blackout uniforms much better than last year's postseason ones. However, if Adidas wants to use UC as their Oregon and the players dig it, I'm ALL for it. If it helps in recruiting then I'd be ok if they wore pink. Just no denim.

Just get rid of the cat scratches. They have run their course in my opinion.
The neon is fine.
On the other end of the spectrum, I'd love to see the throwback uni's they wore the last few years.
Here is my $.02 -- not a big fan of the cat scratches. I like...don't love...the throwbacks -- unless we go all out and make them our standard (then we'd stand out). Not a fan of last year's post-season uni's...the neon was OK, but the Zubazz shorts were ugly.
I'm ready for new uniforms overall for MBB. If only we could go back to the design we had when we had the best uniforms in college basketball -- the Air Jordan's !!!
They r very close to last yr but the orange is more red, alot more red, but very close to last yr, light weight style and very bright.
Just tell me the zubazz shorts are gone and I am happy.
That is the new Adidas style of shorts. They are called crazy lights. You can actually or could buy the gray and infrared shorts on their website recently. They just didnt have the UC logos but was the exact same shorts. I liked the grey shorts better than they black.
sooo in addition to not having our new jerseys ready for this season like they were supposed to, our "new" jerseys for the tourney will more or less be last years version with a slightly more correct color scheme?
Am I missing something here or does it seem like Adidas continues to underwhelm on the jersey front?

While disappointed in the fact that we haven't got a new regular season uniform in the last 4 years or something like that, I am happy that we are one of their poster programs and we're the first team or one of first featured on the "Bleed out" uniforms; before Kansas and UL. Also happy that we are featured as one of 3 programs to get special postseason uniforms, and the only team I can think of to have had a home and away throwback uniform. Personally, being the college student and all, I love all the modern uniforms they have given us, but that's personal preference.
Louisville and even Notre Dame get new uniforms nearly every season and at most every other season. Same with Pitt back in the day when they had adidas. Personally, I agree with both you and Xlax- having these current cat scratch uniforms for four years when the players do not like them and have said so publicly and visuallly on the court by actively rolling up the shoulders every game is ridiculous in my mind, especially considering how other teams get new uniforms every year.
at the same time, like you said it is a good thing to be getting the new special uniforms no matter how ridiculous some fans think they are. it is a sign that adidas wants uc in their experimental unis and they think uc has enough leverage nationally to justify it. i think we were third after notre dame and tennessee to wear the bleed out unis, but that is not a product of who was most important, but rather when each team had a favorable national stage to unveil them.
Good points made. I feel like a team needs new uniforms every other year. At least something different, even if you only get a new ALT. jersey.
last year our tournament uniforms doubled as adidas's mcdonalds all american jerseys. here are the 2013 mcdonalds uniforms.
maybe these are what our uniforms look like for the postseason?
I was told UC is not wearing the new short sleeves look...
I hope not, the short sleeves are a terrible look. I think I saw the golden state warriors might wear those a few games as well.
When I saw that Golden State had those, and realized it was Adidas... it did make me wonder if infact UC was going to use them as well.
