Cronin agrees to extension

Just got confirmation Mick Cronin has agreed to a contract extension.
Terms of contract not available at this time.
Quote from Cronin on contract extension
"Honored to be the coach at my alma mater and focused on our future," said Cronin. "Excited we have rebuilt our program and looking forward to next season."
Hope to have more later tonight or tomorrow.

Great news!! The university needed to get this done and they did, so i'll give them credit..im really pumped for the next season to begin as we will really upgrade the overall talent. hopefully we can continue to be a team that plays it best basketball in feb/mar

Sounds like they tore up his existing contract and gave him a new 6-year deal. I wonder if it includes a rollover?

Good to hear. Credit goes to Cronin and Thomas for getting it done.
Also, kudos to Bcat who had been saying all along that his sources claimed there wasn't anything to worry about.
