Honestly, I've said it before, and will repeat it until it changes or I die - the City of Cincinnati and our beloved university will forever be held back from progress as long as that radio station is in existence. Embarrassment is being kind.

That's the support our public university gets from the media in its hometown. Absolutely ridiculous. You think any station in any other top tier college sports town shows such a lack of support? We got to have a coach leave just to get decent coverage.

I had refrained from reading this thread but gave in, anything with Cunningham's name should just be locked to save us the time from reading such nonsense.

Cunningham is way off base here, but I believe he is on to something. Cronin deserves 10x the recognition and support he gets from the University. I look to see a new contract for Cronin after the season that includes significant facilities upgrades. IMHO 5/3 arena needs to be looked at before nippert. Nippert expansion will not be a good return on investment. I know Cronin wants a new locker room and lounge. These are the type of upgrades a coach deserves after sticking around for 7 seasons. He put his life into it, he lost his marriage most likely because of his dedication to UC bball.
It will be an interesting offseason for sure.

While renovating 5/3 might not be feasible right now, a new locker room and players' lounge definetly is.
Hopefully Mick puts some pressure on Whit and Ono to get it done. I know before the season started, Mick told us that he was currently working with both to get it done and he understands that it is being taken care of in a timely manner.
