Proudest Bearcat Moment

My first game was 1958, Oscar; grad in "74, season ticket holder since 78-79, been to every Big East tourney game, and the memories just keep on coming.

Then you must remember the shot Tom Thacker made in Evansville to beat Bradley to win the conference title. I think it was his only shot of the game, I know it was his only points.

"The Bearcats have been my team for over 35 years and I must say today is the proudest day I've ever had being a bearcat fan. "

Well son you are a young man. I would say I have 45 years in that role. What were the greatest moments for me?

    1. UC beating L'ville in 1966 with Butch Beard and Wes Unseld in the Armory Field House.

    2. Jim O'Brien beating Miami in football in I think 1968.

    3. Tony Pike to Armon Binns to beat Pitt at Pitt - I think this was the best sporting event I have ever seen - and was there as well,

    4. And yes today - twice down big - and came back to win.

    5. And then there was the final 4 game against Michigan - but - that did not end right.

    Bob

I was there in 1966, and if I recall, Dean Foster, an unlikely hero, made a last second shot.
