With the wins either would need to pick up to make the tourney, neither will be playing play in games IMHO

Intensity is the problem. You play defense with attitude and heart. when this team is motivated they are very good. When they aren't they look terrible. Everything about this team revolves around offense. Too often when shots aren't falling they hang their heads and stop playing D. They also play down to the teams they're playing. Elite teams do not do that. they have the talent but lack the heart. Gates and Dixon along with Cash and Parker need to lead this team and demand excellence on every single play. It was good to see Gates dunking on people. Toward the end of the game he reverted back and at one point had a guard on him and chose to shoot a jump shot instead of one dribble and slam.

Their transition D is terrible. Nobody has a clue when to stop the ball. They try to stop the ball two feet from the basket which becomes an easy layup or dunk every time. To make matters worse they get caught in bad positions because of taking bad shots with their guards out of position or over jumping rebounds that they don't have a chance at.
