I don't know, which is why it amazes me that UC wins these games. I can't think of anyone who really had a good game, yet they still won and until the last couple minutes it was a pretty comfortable win. The offense once again looked great at the beginning, they were penetrating and either finishing in the lane or kicking it out to the open man for a 3. Then it just stopped all of a sudden. The defense gives up so many easy layups. Luckily the opposing guards don't realize they can dribble to the hole at any time. The turnovers are also mind boggling. They aren't even forced turnovers, just lazy passes or making stupid decisions. If UC cuts the stupid turnovers out they win by a lot.

That said, somehow they were still able to control the game. I feel for Yancy, not sure what whitey has against him but those were some bogus call and he couldn't get a call if his life depended on it.

Speaking of Yancy, there was a sequence where he was fouled(no call) got the ball back and made the bucket while being fouled again which should have been an And 1, and the white haired ref called a jump ball. It was almost as if that particular ref had a personal vendetta against Yancy. After he was given the BS Technical foul, you could see Yancy clearly upset with that ref. And Yancy suffered the rest of the game at the hands of that ref. Is there some kind of review for these crews? It's one thing to have an older ref making bad calls on both sides of the floor (at least it's fair), it's quite another to have the situation that was in the arena today with Yancy and the white haired ref. It was unprofessional, and frankly that prick has no business reffing any more games in the Big East Conference (or elsewhere for that matter).

Has anyone else noticed that the big east has more than their fair share of social security recipients. Instead of retiring they have become bb officials. Some of these guys are so old they haven't seen a bb game in 20 years. As long as its just bad on both ends, thats all u can really ask for I guess.

There is no such thing as a Big East official.

That talk will fade fast because it does not matter. I want three though just to get a better seed. I think with three more wins they are a 5-7 seed, maybe even with two depending on Big East tourney.
