This is AWFUL news to those of us who have tickets to the game and have to be back to Cincinnati for work at 7 o'clock in the morning. I guess a case of Red Bull will do.

You're right. A win would make the drive a lot shorter. A loss and it's just a fight to stay awake on the road. LOL

I don't ever remember a game starting this late on a Sunday. Good thing I took off Monday too. Other than the travel for those who have tickets, I'm glad we did not get another early afternoon game.

Correct its 8:45 here in Nashville, this game time sucks for sure. I guess were the marquee matchup sunday night. Way too late to take my son to the game though. Sucks for you all that have to do the 4 1/2 hr drive back that night. Stock up on some Red Bull and no-dose for the trip back

I don't know about that. With what all happened from the later games yesterday, It might be better to play early this year.

I cannot recall a Sunday start time so late; just proves TV $$ drive the bus-if they wanted a midnight start outside on a playground the NCAA would probably acquiesce.

Games being over early on Sundays was because CBS already gets big ratings that night in prime time. With the games now on TBS TNT and Tru they want the big numbers for prime time. Sucks but that is how it goes...

I don't think "marquee" goes with 9:40 tip on a Sunday. I know lots of people who would watch this game ordinarily (not die hard UC fans), but won't try to stay awake to watch this late on a Sunday.

We had theater plans for Sunday afternoon and I was stressed. I feel for the guys who have to work on Monday and are in Nashville.

I am stuck working in Dallas over the weekend. The late start means I get to watch the game. I feel for the people that are there and bought tickets for the game, though. That game time sucks for you guys.
I bet it sends a lot of people home early, too. There will likely be quite a few people like Chad who can't kee their families over.

That's why i said I guess, but also you have to think nationwide, not just east coast. I live in Nashville which is cst time and on the west coast will be prime time. Most people like me that have kids have baseball and soccer games during the day and would miss the afternoon games. An hour earlier would be nice but it is what it is.

That's great Chad, I'm sure she will put that favor in the bank for her for a later date like mine would. My wife said if I go she wouldn't care if my 7yo son stayed out that late. Checking the sites for tickets in case we do go sunday.
